To make the Ricotta, Banana, and honey* fingers, all you need is honey*, 2 bread slices, ricotta, and thinly sliced banana. This dish is filling and has enough nutrients for your child to start his day.

Ingredients

1 tsp honey*

2 slices bread

1 tbsp ricotta

¼ banana, thinly sliced

Step by step

  • Spread honey* and ricotta on one slice of bread; top with banana and remaining bread; using a serrated knife, remove crusts from bread and cut sandwich into 3 fingers.

    Note : Honey should not be introduced before 12 months of age unless the spores of Clostridium botulinum have been inactivated by adequate high-pressure and high-temperature treatment, as used by industry.
