Couscous Apple Salad Recipe
Couscous is a grain rich in fiber and selenium which helps boost your little one’s immunity. Along with the nutrient-rich ingredients, the recipe is easy to follow and not time consuming.
Ingredients
1½ tbsp couscous
1 tsp sugar
½ medium apple, peeled, cored and grated
3 dried dates, seeded and chopped
¾ cup (190mL) milk
Step by step

Place couscous, sugar, apple, dates and milk in a small saucepan over medium heat; bring to the boil; simmer for 10 minutes or until couscous is tender.
TIP:
Delicious served with natural yoghurt or Vanilla Custard (see recipe)
