Nutrition for Children: Breast Milk & Growing Up Milk
Good nutrition in the early stage of our children's lives is critical, because it is the foundation for what will continue with them for the rest of their lives.
It is also essential to build a strong foundation for a healthy start and ensure that we have provided our children with the elements necessary for their healthy growth.
Of course, we are reassured that a breastfed baby has all his/her needs met.
After the 1st year in addition to breast feeding, children should consume growing up milk that
contains the most essential components, such as:
* Adequate amount of protein (opti pro) for healthy growth and digestion.
* Probiotics, or good bacteria, which improve immunity and digestive system’s function.
* HMO Oligosaccharides, which have many functions in improving immunity and reducing
allergy.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: We believe that breastfeeding is the ideal nutritional start for babies and we fully support the World Health Organizations recommendation of exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life followed by the introduction of adequate nutritious complementary foods along with continued breastfeeding up to two years of age.
NAN® Opti Pro 3 is not a breast-milk substitute. We recommend that you speak to your healthcare professional about how to feed your baby and seek advice on when to introduce this product.
